Grant to Organize Traction Camps for Tech Startups
The USAID Competitive Economy Program (CEP), is seeking grant applications under the Request for Applications (RFA)-2020-011- Modification 1 (changes are marked in orange below).

The USAID Competitive Economy Program (CEP), implemented by Chemonics International, is seeking grant applications from Ukrainian non-governmental organizations (NGOs), private enterprises and/or private entrepreneurs who will organize a series of three traction camps for Ukrainian tech startups, with 20-25 participants representing 20-25 Ukrainian startups per traction camp.
Traction camps are intensive, multi-day (anticipated to be three full days), and mentor-driven accelerator-type workshops, which are managed by a group of experienced individuals with substantial backgrounds in international business. Participants of traction camps under this grant activity will be founders of Ukrainian tech startups, who are ready to enter mature markets with a new, dynamic product.
Registered Ukrainian NGOs, private enterprises and/or private entrepreneurs are eligible for award under this RFA.

The application process will consist of a single stage. Applicants shall submit an Application (Annex A) and Detailed Grant Budget (Annex B), using the templates provided. Application materials will be reviewed by a selection committee following due date for applications under this RFA.
The grants will be awarded and implemented in accordance with USAID and US Government regulations governing grants under contracts and CEP’s internal grant management policies. Project and Chemonics employees may not ask for, and applicants are prohibited from offering, any money, fee, commission, credit, gift, gratuity, thing of value, or compensation to obtain or reward improper favorable treatment regarding this solicitation. Any improper request from a project employee should be reported to the chief of party or [email protected].

- Representation by Corporation Regarding A Delinquent Tax Liability or a Felony Criminal Conviction (per AAPD 14-03)
- Prohibition on Providing Federal Assistance to Entities that Require Certain Internal Confidentiality Agreements – Representation (May 2017).
