Position Title: Logistics and Warehouse Associate
Duty Station: Kyiv, Ukraine
Classification: General Service Staff, Grade G5
Type of Appointment: Special Short-Term, six months with the possibility of extension

Context:
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and Supply Chain Officer and under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for arranging logistics and warehouse activities, including: coordination, warehouse inventory and data management, stock receiving, dispatch, documentation and reporting.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Verify that all warehousing transactions are done in line to IOM internal guidelines and in close coordination with Warehouse officer.
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Officer to monitor and support the processes of receiving, storing, packing, kitting, labelling, and dispatching goods to and from the warehouse.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to make sure all movement of goods are timely recorded.
- Coordinate with and support the Management Support Team by verifying and providing logistics data and documentation for review, as a member of the warehouse team.
- Ensure that all goods are properly stored and timely registered into the warehouse inventory data base. Coordinate with the System Developer for any glitch and minor system upgrade.
- Monitor and review all transaction records (Data, soft and hard copy) as needed, ensuring that an efficient filing system is maintained for all stock-related documents.
- Support the performance of inventory control and assets management, maintain the records and files on assets management, coding and tagging.
- Support the development and submission of reports to the Ministry of Social Policy, as needed.
- Act with integrity and professionalism and in accordance with IOM’s Code of Conduct, at all times.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- Completed Bachelors or Equivalent or Higher degree in the relevant field of expertise (Business Administration, Logistics, Management) with minimum of three years of relevant professional experience; or
- Completed High School degree/ Certificate with minimum of five years of relevant professional experience.
- Previous work experience with the UN and local and/or international NGOs is an asset.
Experience
- Experience in logistics and warehouse/inventory management;
- Excellent level of computer literacy;
- Good knowledge of SAP/PRISM an advantage;
- Experience of work for international organizations is an asset.
Skills
- Coordination and arrangement skills in Supply Chain Management;
- Working level of computer literacy, especially MS Excel and E-mail Communication;
- Documentation skills to develop CMR/Way-Bill, Packing List, Bin Card, Stock Card and other logistics and warehouse documents.
Languages
Fluency in English and Ukrainian (oral and written) is required.
