PMCG Ukraine was established in 2020 as an independent organization dedicated to delivering progress, supporting Ukraine to advance in economic development, democracy and good governance through policy, structural and administrative reforms, as well as infrastructure development and support.

The organization has partnership with international companies working in the regions of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa, with bilateral and multilateral development institutions, such as: EBRD, USAID, European Commission, World Bank, UNDP, ADB, JICA and others.

Position Summary

PMCG Ukraine seeks a qualified staff for PIU for the project aimed at rehabilitation of the landfill and construction of new engineered sanitary landfill cells in compliance with the EU standards.

Qualifications requirements for Environmental Expert

• Sc. degree in biology, environment or similar.
• Preferably 8 years or more of professional experience in environmental studies and Environmental Impact Assessments and/or Action Plans and/or following up on their implementation, in particular, in a solid waste management context.
• Specific experience in environmental requirements according to Ukrainian law.
• Familiarity with local conditions in Ukraine and/or the Eastern European, former Soviet Republic and/or Baltic countries is considered an advantage.
