EasyBusiness is looking for Communication Manager Intern to promote its think tank activities by strengthening EasyBusiness’ marketing and communication capabilities. The position is pro-bono based (unpaid internship). Both full- and part-time positions are available and envisage close cooperation with international organizations, business associations, academia and civil society organizations.

EasyBusiness is an advisory organization, which conducts think tank activities and provides consulting services for governments, international organizations, investors and businesses. Among think tank programs, which are aimed at building a better-business enabling environment in Ukraine, are free markets development, business climate improvement, property rights protection, and public-private partnership facilitation. With a goal to unleash potential and provide opportunities for private firms, EasyBusiness provides analytical support, public policy and management consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development and implementation of Communication Strategy
• Researching, writing and distributing press releases to targeted media
• Maintaining, updating information and engaging with users on the EasyBusiness website, social network pages (Facebook, Twitter)
• Assisting in preparing and supervising the production of brochures, presentations, infographics, promotional videos
• Assisting in organizing events (press conferences, public meetings, round tables)
• Drafting articles for leading Ukrainian newspapers and websites (Ukrainska Pravda, KyivPost, Novoye Vremya, etc.)
• Preparing support materials for TV shows and news (1+1 media, ICTV, hromadske.tv, Shuster LIVE, etc.)

Requirements

• Last year students or recent graduates in the field of Public Relations, Media and Communication or related fields
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian
• Understanding of Ukrainian political landscape
• Ability to work overtime and under tight deadlines
