Проект ЄС «Надання підтримки Україні у розвитку сучасної системи громадського здоров’я» оголошує набір молодших фахівців за наступними напрямами:
- експерт в галузі епідеміології та нагляду за захворюваннями;
- експерт з розвитку лабораторних систем та діагностики;
- експерт в галузі суспільного здоров’я;
- експерт з менеджменту інформації в сфері охорони здоров’я;
- експерт в галузі неінфекційних захворювань;
- експерт з розробки та проведення тренінгів;
- експерти в сфері охорони здоров’я та промоції здоров’я;
- експерт з управління та фінансування в сфері охорони здоров’я;
- експерт з комунікацій та підвищення обізнаності;
- юрист в галузі громадського здоров’я
Кандидати можуть подаватись на кілька позицій одночасно та поєднувати кілька позицій в роботі.

The EU funded Project “Support to Ukraine for Developing a Modern Public Health System” forms part of the Ukrainian Reform Agenda, concerns the consolidation and empowerment of the State Institution “Public Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine” (UPHC) under the Ministry of Health is seeking to recruit Junior Non-key national experts in the several areas. We invite the prospective candidates to apply for one or more positions listed below (the positions can be combined, based on the competencies and experience):
- Epidemiology/Disease surveillance (number of days – 130, period – 1.12.2019-31.12.2021): assistance in preparing and changing the regulatory framework, including required EU approximation, assistance, development of scientifically based guidelines and methodological recommendations, assistance in the ongoing establishment of a national system for epidemiological surveillance, integrating IHR in the national system for epidemiological surveillance, assistance in the review and development of national public health programmes tailored to IHR response capacity, and review of national public health and prevention programmes and campaigns;
- Laboratory system and diagnostics (number of days – 30, period – 01.09.2020-28.02.2021): aassistance in defining and implementing reform/rationalisation of the network of PH laboratories, defining the existing laboratory system;
- Community health (number of days – 60, period – 15.01.2020-30.06.2020): conducting field assessment of existing capacities and support needs within Public Health Centre and regional public health centres, development of the capacity assessment report; support the other non-key experts in drafting management documents, job descriptions and human resource policies; participating in development of relevant training modules and conducting the training modules;
- Health information management (number of days – 70, period – 15.01.2020-31.10.2021): assistance in the ongoing establishment of a national system for epidemiological surveillance, assistance in defining and rationalising the network of PH laboratories;
- Non-communicable disease: number of days- 90, period- 15.01.2020-31.12.2021 (development of scientifically based guidelines and methodological recommendations, assisting public communication campaigns);
- Health education and promotion (number of days – 60, period – 15.01.2020-31.12.2021): national competence development through trainings, workshops, seminars, on-site coaching;
- Health management and financing (number of days – 60, period – 15.01.2020-30.06.2020): institutional support for UPHC and regional PHCs, national competence development through trainings, workshops;
- Training development (number of days – 80, period – 1.12.2019-31.12.2021): support the other experts in development of training curricula, content and manuals, participating in the development of standard methodology for capacity and training needs assessment;
- Public health lawyers (number of days – 50, period – 15.01.2020-31.10.2021): assistance in preparing and changing the regulatory framework, including required EU approximation, institutional support for adapting the International Health Regulations);
- Communication and visibility (number of days – 90, period – 15.01.2020-31.12.2021): provide support to development of the Communication in Emergency manual, engaging local media to raise awareness about progress and impact of the UPHC system reform in Ukraine, using social media of the MoH and UPHC websites to promote the public health system reform.

The experts will work in the project office in Kyiv, with some travel to other regions of Ukraine.
The following qualification and skills are required:
- University degree or academy diploma in a discipline relevant to assignment;
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience relevant in the relevant area;
- Fluency in English and Ukrainian (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, strict adherence to completing assigned tasks in a timely manner;
- Outstanding analytical skills;
- (Would be an advantage): general knowledge of the EU – Ukraine cooperation/AA;
