Finance/ Administrative Assistant (Чернівці)

Main Job Responsibilities in Finance:
- Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions;
- Prepare financial documents/ tables in case of necessity;
- Track and reconcile bank statements;
- Support monthly payroll and keep organized records;
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- Process invoices and follow up with involved HIAS Units as needed;
- Provide administrative support during budget preparation if needed;
- Professional skills of accounting documents in the accounting system;
Main Job Responsibilities in Administration:
- Office set-up and general administration;
- Support in establishment of office processes and protocols as per HIAS Standard Operating Procedures;
- Responsible for general office including ordering of supplies, cleaning services and maintaining accurate records;
- Scanning and printing documents;
- Provide efficient support to international staff and visitors;
- Arranging transportation and accommodation (taxi, hotels, train/air tickets).
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Job requirements:
- Citizenship of Ukraine;
- Secondary education supplemented by specialized studies in Accounting, Finance;
- Minimum 2 years work experience as a Finance Assistant or Accountant or similar role;
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures according to Ukrainian legislation;
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions);
- Familiarity and experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, 1C, MeDoc);
- Organizational and time-management skills;
- Attention to details, with an ability to spot numerical errors;
- Professional fluency in Ukrainian and Russian languages, English language – intermediate level.
