Summary:

The Partnership Fund for a Resilient Ukraine (PFRU) is a multi-donor programme funded by Canada, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Netherlands, and the United States, which unites the Government of Ukraine with its closest international government partners to deliver projects in primarily liberated and frontline communities that strengthen Ukraine’s resilience against Russia’s war of aggression. PFRU aims to strengthen the Ukrainian government’s capacity and resilience to deliver essential support to local communities in collaboration with civil society, media, and the private sector.

The PFRU’s aim is to set improved conditions for the Ukrainian state, in partnership with civil society and the private sector, to lead on inclusive national recovery and revitalization in the context of Russia’s aggression. This outcome is designed to facilitate the rebuilding of a more resilient, socially cohesive, inclusive, independent, democratic, sovereign and prosperous Ukraine. The PFRU provides funds to Ukrainian and international delivery partners and implements projects based on research and evidence.

PFRU is looking for a part-time graphic designer to support PFRU’s external communication efforts.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

· Creating visually appealing and effective graphic designs for a variety of platforms, including print and digital media in compliance with PFRU brand book.

· Collaborating with PFRU team members to ensure brand consistency across all channels.

· Collaborating with and advising any third parties on PFRU brand consistency and PFRU brand book adherence.

· Reviewing any graphic designs and/or PFRU logo placement on any media as developed by third parties.

· Adding graphic design elements to leaflets, brochures, presentations, or any other text products.

Qualifications:

The Graphic designer will have the following qualifications and experience requirements:

· A degree in Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

· Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

· Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms.

· Creative thinking and a keen eye for design aesthetics.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience of working with international organisations or on donor-funded programmes preferred.

· Strong organisational and work prioritisation skills.

· Fluent in Ukrainian and English (oral and written)

Duration of Assignment: from the date the contract is signed until 31 August 2024 with possible extension. Level of effort – 10 days per month. Location of Assignment: The Graphic Designer may work remotely. No business travel is anticipated.

Supervision of Consultant: The Graphic Designer will report to the PFRU Strategic Communications Lead, and coordinate with other members of the PFRU team as required.
