You can join the British Council Ukraine team through our Internship Programme. The purpose of our Internship Programme is to offer to successful candidates an opportunity to develop their skills and enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments while gaining experience of working in an international environment. British Council offers an exciting and promising start of your career. Our Internship Programme at different periods of time can be open in different departments: Customer Management and Sales, Teaching Centre, Examinations, Arts, and Human Resources.

Marketing and Communications – Duties
General candidate requirements:
- Accuracy/attention to detail
- Computing skills (MS Office, Excel – desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Desire to work & develop
- Fluency in English (spoken & written B2+)
Specific requiremenmts could be listed in the Duties Description for interns in the corresponding department.
Terms and Conditions:
Our Internship Programme is open to students or graduates (18 years or above).
Interns are responsible for their own living accommodation, visas, personal insurance etc.
The period of internship would be from 3 to 6 months.
The programme is full-time, i.e. interns are expected to work five days a week full working day (7.5 hours) in the British Council office in Kyiv.
What interns do at the British Council?
Duties and responsibilities would be mainly administrative support of the corresponding department. Some specific duties could be found in the Duties Description document. Please see the sectionInternship opportunities are currently open in.
Do interns get a certificate?
All selected candidates who have completed the internship programme successfully will receive a certificate stating the period of the internship and the name of the section to which they were assigned.
What are my chances of employment at the British Council after the internship?
As the main purpose of the Internship Programme is to provide an opportunity to gain experience in international environment the programme is not related to employment in the British Council.
An intern may apply for any job opening in the British Council during his/her internship programme, if he/she wishes to apply.

This opportunity is ongoing. We will be collecting and processing applications as it will be required organisationally. Human Resources Department and the related managers will hold a selection process to assess received British Council application forms. Please do not send your CVs.
