Deloitte is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Consultant on Hospital District Development in support of the USAID Health Reform Support.
Project Description
The purpose of the USAID Health Reform Support (HRS) is to support a transparent, accountable, and effective health care system that is capable of meeting the needs of the Ukrainian people. Advancing health sector reforms, enhancing transparency, and tackling corruption will reduce out-of-pocket payments and improve access and availability of high quality, evidence-based health care services for Ukrainians. Elimination of corruption is a cross-cutting theme across all objectives to be achieved by this activity, which include:
- Improve health sector governance.
- Support the transformation of the healthcare financing model.
- Strengthen the health workforce.
- Enhance transparency, accountability, and responsiveness of the health care system.
- Improve service delivery system at all levels.
Responsibilities
- provide support to administration of meetings, appointments and briefings for Zhytomyr Hospital Council;
- preparation of meeting minutes/summaries of actions to be taken;
- help to prepare relevant documentation/background notes for meetings including required statistical information and context analysis when required;
- data collection and data analysis as required;
- track progress on agreed issues; follow-up with focal points on deadlines, commitments made, actions taken and coordination of collection and submission of the respective documents;
- assist in communication with local authorities and other partners;
- coordinate the information flow and dissemination communication to all partners as required;
- ensure smooth and continuous communication between HDDP implementors and HRS project; participation in meetings and discussions with HRS project;
Requirements
- university degree, BA or equivalent degree in Healthcare Administrations, Public Health, and Statistics will be an advantage;
- understanding of key strategic goals and planned activities of the HDDP in Zhytomyr oblast;
- no less than three years of continuous work experience with local authorities, experience in coordination and administration of meetings (organization of meetings, preparation of meeting agenda and summaries, etc.) is required;
- understanding of key strategic goals planned activities of the HDDP for Zhytomyr oblast;
- knowledge of the organization of hospital care services in the region will be an advantage;
- knowledge principles of transformations in the health sector in Ukraine will be advantage;
- experience of communication with public authorities will be an advantage;
