PMCG is currently seeking an Environmental Specialist for EBRD-funded tender: Khmelnytskyi Trolleybus Project – Project Implementation Support. The overall objective of the Khmelnytskyi Trolleybus Project is to acquire new trolleybuses, spare parts, monitoring system, and service equipment in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. The consultant’s main tasks in this assignment include assisting with the capacity building of the PIU, procurement, preparation of technical specifications, tendering, and contract implementation, compliance and reporting obligations, and environmental and social implementation support. The upgrade of the trolleybus fleet and related infrastructure will improve the quality and reliability of public transportation services, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance the safety of public transport users.

Position: Environmental Specialist

Requirements:

• Sc. degree in biology, environment or similar.
• At least 5 years’ experience in environmental studies and EIA impact assessment for IFI’s projects.
• Specific experience in environmental requirements according to local law.
• Experience in transport related projects would be an advantage.
• Working experience in EBRD funded project would be an advantage.
