PMCG is currently seeking a Social Specialist for EBRD-funded tender: Khmelnytskyi Trolleybus Project – Project Implementation Support. The overall objective of the Khmelnytskyi Trolleybus Project is to acquire new trolleybuses, spare parts, monitoring system, and service equipment in Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. The consultant’s main tasks in this assignment include assisting with the capacity building of the PIU, procurement, preparation of technical specifications, tendering, and contract implementation, compliance and reporting obligations, and environmental and social implementation support. The upgrade of the trolleybus fleet and related infrastructure will improve the quality and reliability of public transportation services, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance the safety of public transport users.

Position: Social Specialist

Requirements:

• Sc. degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant sector
• At least 5 years’ experience in similar projects within the required sector
• Practical knowledge and understanding of EBRD’s environmental and social requirements and past experience of assistance in their successful implementation.
• Experience of working as Gender Specialist would be considered an advantage.
