Project Background and Summary:
The purpose of the USAID Health Reform Support is to support a transparent, accountable, and effective health care system that is capable of meeting the health needs of the Ukrainian people. Advancing health sector reforms, enhancing transparency, and tackling corruption will reduce out-of-pocket payments and improve access and availability of high quality, evidence-based health care services for Ukrainians. Elimination of corruption is a cross-cutting theme across all objectives to be achieved by this activity, which include:
- Improve health sector governance.
- Support the transformation of the healthcare financing model.
- Strengthen the health workforce.
- Enhance transparency, accountability and responsiveness of the health care system.
- Improve service delivery system at all levels.
Scope of Services:
The Consultant will provide technical support in training psychologists and conduct supervision for them on providing support to vulnerable groups of people.
Responsibilities:
The consultant is expected to perform the following tasks:
- Update a structure of the training course on Crisis Counseling
- Update a detailed program of the course identifying training topics and methods of training
- Update educational materials that includes presentations, tasks for course participants, cases for analysis, etc.
- conduct an online training
- provide weekly group supervision for psychologists
- provide individual supervision for psychologists
- participate in working meetings of the Project team on a regular basis.
- Develop the recommendations on multidisciplinary approach implementation
- Develop the presentation on recommendations for webinar
- Participate in the meetings of the multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Master’s in Psychology;
- More than five years of psychological counseling experience;
- More than three years of work experience as a Supervisor;
- Experience in organizing and conducting trainings for psychologists;
- Willingness and ability to provide Supervisor’s support on-line;
- Good oral and written communication skills in Ukrainian;
- Ability to work in a team;
- MS Office programs user’s skills;
- Having an internationally recognized Supervisor’s Certificate will be considered an advantage;
- Having an internationally recognized Therapist’s Certificate in Psychotherapy with proven effectiveness for acute/chronic stress conditions will be considered an advantage;
- Working with USAID projects or other technical assistance projects will be an asset.
