Консультування – Livelihood assessment and program development

HELVETAS is the largest Swiss nongovernmental organization with a dual mandate for long term development and humanitarian response. It has been present in Ukraine for several year implementing development projects mainly through local partners.

During 2022 HELVETAS initiated emergency assistance. Currently we are building our operational presence to deliver comprehensive response to the current humanitarian crisis. HELVETAS plan to be active in Ukraine for next 5 years.

Starting date:           January 2023
Duration:                   2-3 months  (extended cooperation possible)
Duty Station:            Kyiv / partially remote

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY

The position holder works under the direction of the Country Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of comprehensive assessment in area of livelihood, job market, economic development
• Work together with international consultant (including limited interpretation during meetings and interviews)
• Conduct interviews with key informants 
• Support mapping of existing projects focusing on skills development, economic development and support to small enterprises
• Contribute to drafting report with findings and recommendations on livelihood program development 

Requirements

• Ability to work independently
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Good oral and written English skills
• Ukrainian citizenship or authorization to work in Ukraine
• Travel up to 10% is likely
