Менеджер/ка з безпеки / Security manager

We are looking for a Security Manager who possesses excellent organizational skills, is committed to ensuring the safety and security of their team and assets in a dynamic environment, and has a strong understanding of security protocols and risk management. 

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

• Provide security updates, disseminate threat warnings, and compile security reports.
• Conduct security briefings and emergency drills, and manage journey plans.
• Oversee safety resources, electronic security devices, and ensure vehicle and driver safety.
• Perform security assessments and update emergency plans quarterly.
• Build relationships with security providers and authorities, attend meetings, and act as the primary contact in emergencies.
• Participate in crisis management and support staff training.

WE EXPECT YOU TO:

• Have a master’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Have at least 3 years of experience in security management, preferably in high-risk environments; military and/or law enforcement experience will also be considered.
• Have previous experience advising senior leadership on crisis management.
• Possess a strong understanding of security protocols and risk management strategies.
• Have a high level of command of the Ukrainian and English languages.

Advantageous:

• Experience in the non-profit sector or media industry.
• Experience with European projects.
• Experience in countering disinformation and fact-checking.
