Proposal Summary: The anticipated USAID-funded Donbas Activity will promote inclusive civic identity and common civic values by addressing the divisive impacts of Russian aggression, Ukrainian ultra-nationalism, and the consequences of ongoing armed conflict. The activity will promote civic awareness, social and economic entrepreneurship, and improve democratic engagement between citizens and government institutions, as well as improve community services in areas most affected by these divisive influences. This five-year project is expected to start in mid-2018. This position will be based in Kyiv.
** Only Ukrainian citizens are eligible for this position. ** Position Summary: The M&E Manager will report directly to the project’s chief of party (COP) and will work closely with the deputy chief of party (DCOP) and technical teams in the development of regular performance reports. The position duties include overseeing the project’s Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) and ensuring high-level quality tracking of all performance measurement indicators and reporting. The M&E Manager will be responsible for all data collection, storage and reporting and will be responsible for training data collection staff and ensuring high quality of data. S/he will oversee the design, development and management of the project database system and be responsible for any recommendations made to adjust M&E systems and/or definitions to improve tracking systems. The M&E Manager will also work with the Communications Manager to ensure that lessons learned are fed into program strategy. This is a full-time position for the life of the project.
