The United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs plays a central role in United Nations efforts to prevent and resolve deadly conflicts around the world.
The peaceful resolution of the war in Ukraine remains a key priority of the United Nations, especially in view of the new context of the full-scale invasion that arose in February 2022.
Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs in Ukraine monitors and assesses political developments in the country and reports to the DPPA at UNHQ.
Requirements for candidates:
- 3 years of experience in political analysis or in the field related to this assignment.
- Strong report drafting skills
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Advanced IT skills
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Political Science, International Relations or related fields. MA or higher degrees in these fields would constitute as an advantage.
- Ukrainian, Level: Fluent, Required
- English, Level: Fluent, Required
