Ukraine Reforms Architecture Foundation (URA Foundation) is a non-governmental organization that provides operational support to Ukraine Recovery and reforms Architecture (URA)[1] project, a comprehensive technical assistance program developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in partnership with the European Union, to support important reform processes in Ukraine.
- Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Accountant Assistant will assist with accounting and budgeting functions of the URAF. This includes assistance to the chief accountant with regular reporting to the relevant Ukrainian authorities and donors and budgeting.
- Assist chief accountant with regular reporting to donor and authorities;
- Maintain and regular updates of the budget utilisations records;
- Assistance with other accounting duties for the Program, including but not limited to handling primary and supporting documents from subcontractors (collect, review for completeness and accuracy, submit for approval and payment, input data into accounting system, ensure that all accounting documents and records are filed and stored properly
- Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Relevant higher education
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with non-profits would be an asset
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office (MS Excel) and other relevant accounting applications.
- Proficiency in written and oral Ukrainian
- English language at the intermediate level will be a plus
- Duration of assignment
Assignment is envisage until 31.08.2025 with a possibility to continue the assignment subject to availability of funding. The assignment envisages 2 months’ probation period.
