Duties:
Under the supervision of the senior Administrative Management Assistant incumbent coordinates the End Use Monitoring (EUM) for the INL section by performing a variety of tasks of broad scope and complexity relating to the implementation of EUM for INL Kyiv’s over 40 million dollars of commodity assistance provided to the Government of Ukraine (GOU) law enforcement, anti-corruption, and criminal justice partners. Responsible for administering and conducting the critical EUM program of commodities and equipment deployed in over 100 sites throughout Ukraine. This entails need/impact assessments, tracking, and determining the state of equipment, commodities, and vehicles.
The incumbent also liaises with INL counterparts and maintains high-level contacts with the staff of law enforcement and criminal justice institutions. Travels or coordinates travel for staff to various areas of the country to provide monitoring reports on appropriate use of INL commodity assistance, review current deployment of defense articles, and analyze resources of end user agencies Incumbent also organizes and reports on budgetary matters for INL projects. Employee also maintains INL programmatic budget and provides administrative support to the INL team.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one year of program/project administration experience is required.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Law, or Business or related field is required.
LANGUAGE:
Good working knowledge (writing/speaking/reading) English
Good working knowledge (writing/speaking/reading) Ukrainian
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Computer skills: good knowledge of MS Windows, MS Word, MS Excel (ability to use formulas), MS Outlook Express, Internet browsers. Must possess good judgment, tact, and ability to prioritize. Attention to detail and ability to perform and coordinate multiple tasks at the same time.
