Position Summary
Momentum Wheels for Humanity (MWH) seeks a Program Assistant who will be responsible for providing administrative and logistical support for Momentum’s programming in Ukraine. The Program Assistant will provide administrative, logistical, and programmatic support, including coordinating travel, securing training venues, facilitating procurements, stakeholder engagement, and reporting. The Program Assistant will collaborate with the Program Officer and Coordinator on planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting all assigned activities.

Since 1996, Momentum Wheels for Humanity has increased access to mobility and improved the quality of life for children, teens, and adults with physical disabilities in more than 50 low- and middle-income countries. We build and strengthen rehabilitation services within health systems through training and capacity building, policy and standards development, and supply and distribution of wheelchairs and other life-changing equipment. Expected Duties and Responsibilities
The Program Assistant shall assume the following specific responsibilities:
Provide administrative and logistical support to Ukraine project activities
Assist in organizing training and other in-country activities, including identification of appropriate venues and preparation of required materials.
Prepare agendas, participant lists, meeting minutes, and communication or other materials for events as required.
Manage travel arrangements for in-country travel, including airfare, ground transportation, and accommodations as needed.
Support travel arrangements for international travel to Ukraine, including ground transportation and accommodation as needed.
Support sourcing and procurement of project supplies as needed and in line with donor rules and regulations and MWH policies and procedures.
Coordinate with the programs team to put together purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other logistical and procurement documentation.
Coordinate with the finance and admin staff as needed to properly maintain and file relevant logistics documents associated with project activities.
Identify and respond to logistical needs, including facility needs and information communication and technology questions.
Provide programmatic support as needed to the Ukraine project activities
Support in the production of information and communications materials as required.
Contribute to programmatic reporting and proposal development as needed.
Support data collection for project activities following instructions and policies
Facilitate communication between relevant local and national agencies, institutions, NGOs, and other stakeholders to further project activities.
Work to ensure compliance with donor regulations and funding parameters in all aspects of activity implementation.
Document and report on Ukraine project activities.
Maintain project files and electronic data according to MWH policies and procedures.
Participate in MWH Ukraine team meetings.
Ensure all project documents and data are saved to Box.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Flexibility and ability to solve problems
Good computer skills
Written and spoken fluency in Ukrainian
Excellent written and spoken fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in working in the NGO environment.
