Duties:
This position oversees Post’s leasing program and serves as Post expert on real estate market, the incumbent will report to Realty Specialist and General Services Officer (GSO) in charge of real estate issues. S/he undertakes market research, negotiations, prepares leases and approval cables in the approved Department of State format for review and signature by the GSO. Maintains files for all GSO owned and leased properties in compliance with the Foreign Affairs Manual and ensures that electronic records in Real Property Application (RPA) contain current and accurate information. Supervises a team of three locally employed realty clerks to ensure smooth processing of over 1,500 payment transactions totaling $8.5 million per year. Employee is responsible for overall management of all lease agreements, their review and modifications. Serves as on-call POC for maintenance emergences on a rotational basis.
Requirements:
- FOR THE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS APPLICANTS MUST MEET EITHER OPTION 1 OR OPTION 2 TO QUALIFY.
- Option 1
- EXPERIENCE: 3 years of progressively responsible experience in real estate, logistics, customer service, hospitality management, which includes 1 year of supervisory experience.
- EDUCATION: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management, Real State and Marketing.
- Option 2
- EXPERIENCE: 5 years of progressively responsible experience in real estate, logistics, customer service, hospitality management, which includes 1 year of supervisory experience.
- EDUCATION: 2 years of college/university studies in required.
LANGUAGE:
- Fluent (writing/speaking/reading) English
- Fluent (writing/speaking/reading) Ukrainian
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent planning skills, customer service, supervisory/management skills, proficient communication and negotiation skills. Professional analytical and mathematical skills, strong ability to articulate complex issues both orally and in writing as well as strong reporting and written communication skills.
