The Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group (ACA) is a collaborative effort between the European Union, the United States, and the United Kingdom to coordinate and support justice and accountability efforts by Ukrainian authorities to ensure accountability for atrocity crimes committed in the context of the Russian aggression against Ukraine. It is committed to demonstrating international support and solidarity during this crucial historical moment for Ukraine.

Job Summary:

ACA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Driver. The Security Driver will be responsible for providing safe and secure transportation for our personnel while maintaining a high level of vigilance and professionalism. The ideal candidate should possess a valid C-class driver’s license and demonstrated expertise in driving armored vehicles. Additionally, knowledge of the local security situation and proficiency in English, Ukrainian and Russian languages are required.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and securely transport ACA Personnel throughout Ukraine and neighboring countries.
• Operate and maintain armored vehicles, ensuring their cleanliness, safety, and readiness for use. (Light maintenance and managing servicing as required.
• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle’s safety and security features, including emergency equipment, communication systems, and roadworthiness.
• Stay updated on local security conditions and assess potential risks and threats to personnel safety during transportation.
• Maintain a high level of situational awareness and respond promptly to any suspicious activities or emergencies.
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and drive defensively to mitigate potential risks and hazards.
• Communicate effectively with ACA Personnel and security team members, providing updates on transportation status and potential security concerns.
• Assist in the coordination of logistical arrangements, such as route planning, vehicle maintenance, and fueling.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, and maintenance activities.
• Uphold strict confidentiality regarding client information, travel itineraries, and security protocols.

Requirements:

• Valid C-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in driving armored vehicles and handling their specialized features.
• Exceptional driving skills, including defensive driving techniques and the ability to operate in high-stress situations.
• Extensive knowledge of local security conditions and the ability to assess risks and adapt transportation plans accordingly.
• Fluency in English, Russian and Ukrainian languages, both written and spoken.
• Strong situational awareness and the ability to make quick, effective decisions in response to changing circumstances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and adherence to protocols.
• Physical fitness and the ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including sitting for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and maintaining alertness during extended shifts.
• A high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in executive protection or security-related roles.
• Knowledge of advanced driving techniques, such as evasive driving and defensive maneuvers.
• Training or certification in first aid and emergency response procedures.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and other relevant technology.
