Senior Finance and Grants Officer – Caucasus Programme (Київ)

• Contract duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension- 3 days a week
• Location: Kyiv, Ukraine
• Closing date: 14 December 2021 (23:59 UK Time)

We are looking for an experienced finance and grants manager for our Caucasus programme, working to contribute to the effectiveness and impact of the programme by supporting the team to ensure sound financial, grant management and administrative practices.

You will work closely with budget holders in the Caucasus team based in London and local partners in the region to ensure that grant management and donor reporting are of a high quality, as well as ensure that Alert’s overall finance and administrative systems and procedures are sound and compliant. You will also work on financial and operational matters related to the Ukraine programme development.

You will have solid finance and grants management experience with different donors, EU and USAID in particular, and the ability to maintain relationships with a wide range of local partners. A good level of English and Russian language ability and familiarity with national financial legislation in Ukraine are essential for this role.
