Deloitte is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a short-term Data Analyst in support of the USAID/ Ukaid Health Reform Support (HRS).
Period of Performance: January 11, 2021 – June 30, 2021
Level of Effort: 60 working days
Project Background and Summary:
The purpose of the USAID/Ukaid Health Reform Support is to support a transparent, accountable, and effective health care system that is capable of meeting the health needs of the Ukrainian people. Advancing health sector reforms, enhancing transparency, and tackling corruption will reduce out-of-pocket payments and improve access and availability of high quality, evidence-based health care services for Ukrainians. Elimination of corruption is a cross-cutting theme across all objectives to be achieved by this activity, which include:
- Improve health sector governance.
- Support the transformation of the healthcare financing model.
- Strengthen the health workforce.
- Enhance transparency, accountability and responsiveness of the health care system.
- Improve service delivery system at all levels.
Background/Objective
The Data Analyst will provide technical support in developing health workforce optimization plan at the regional level.
Responsibilities
- Data extraction, collection, cleansing and preparation for use.
- Providing technical and consultative support for developing health workforce optimization plan.
- Providing technical and consultative support for health workforce optimization plan modelling stage team in data mapping sector.
- Creating presentations, database documents, reports, and other documents needed throughout the workflow.
- Other assignments related to the health workforce optimization plan development.
Qualification requirements (minimum):
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics or related area.
- Upper-intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) and, additionally, statistical packages for data analysis and data visualization.
- Analytical skills and critical thinking for searching, processing, using data and presenting post-analysis results.
