Deloitte is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a short-term Data Analyst in support of the USAID/ Ukaid Health Reform Support (HRS).

Period of Performance: January 11, 2021 – June 30, 2021
Level of Effort: 60 working days 

Project Background and Summary:

The purpose of the USAID/Ukaid Health Reform Support is to support a transparent, accountable, and effective health care system that is capable of meeting the health needs of the Ukrainian people. Advancing health sector reforms, enhancing transparency, and tackling corruption will reduce out-of-pocket payments and improve access and availability of high quality, evidence-based health care services for Ukrainians. Elimination of corruption is a cross-cutting theme across all objectives to be achieved by this activity, which include:

1. Improve health sector governance.
2. Support the transformation of the healthcare financing model.
3. Strengthen the health workforce.
4. Enhance transparency, accountability and responsiveness of the health care system.
5. Improve service delivery system at all levels.

Background/Objective

The Data Analyst will provide technical support in developing health workforce optimization plan at the regional level.

Responsibilities

• Data extraction, collection, cleansing and preparation for use.
• Providing technical and consultative support for developing health workforce optimization plan.
• Providing technical and consultative support for health workforce optimization plan modelling stage team in data mapping sector.
• Creating presentations, database documents, reports, and other documents needed throughout the workflow.
• Other assignments related to the health workforce optimization plan development.

Qualification requirements (minimum):

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics or related area.
• Upper-intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word) and, additionally, statistical packages for data analysis and data visualization.
• Analytical skills and critical thinking for searching, processing, using data and presenting post-analysis results.
