Position Title: Programme Associate (Accountability to Affected Populations (APP))
Duty Station: Kyiv, Ukraine
Classification: General Service Staff, Grade G5
Type of Appointment: Special short term, Six months with possibility of extension

Context:
Under the overall supervision of Chief of Mission (CoM) and the Program Manager (CBI and Social Protection), and the direct supervision of the Information Management and Reporting Officer Cash Based Initiatives (CBI), in general coordination with the Monitoring and Evaluation team, the successful candidate will provide general support to the implementation of IOM Mission in Ukraine’s efforts with regard to the operations of its Common Feedback Mechanism (CFM) framework within IOM programs.
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Act as the focal point between IOM’s Common Feedback Mechanism (CFM) team and IOM CBI Program for administrative coordination of project implementation.
- Receive, analyse, and respond to complaints and feedbacks referred by IOM’s CFM team to the IOM Programs.
- Develop and update the frequently asked questions database in accordance to changes in programming.
- Regularly maintain and update available databases of the different programs that facilitate communication with beneficiaries.
- Provide input and update to the Standard Operating Procedures and technical tools that support coordination between the CFM and CBI teams, promoting workflow efficiency.
- Continuously update and inform the CFM team on changes or progress of IOM Programs in Ukraine.
- Draft correspondence, reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentations and other forms of documentation.
- Coordinate with the CBI IM Project Assistant for data verification and preparation of distribution lists, supporting as needed the timely distribution of cash assistance.
- Support organization of Project-related meetings, workshops, training sessions etc.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- High school diploma with at least five years of relevant work experience;
or
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution (preferably in International Relations, Political Science, Statistics or related field) with at least three years of relevant work experience
Experience
- Experience in working in a humanitarian/recovery context;
- Experience in supporting AAP or CBI programmes in international organizations is preferred;
- Extensive knowledge of data protection guidelines and principles;
- Experience in customer service;
- Experience in data analysis and report writing;
Skills
- Knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, GIS software or similar visualization tool.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, E-mail, Outlook;
- Attention to detail, ability to organize paperwork in a methodical way;
- Discreet, details and clients-oriented, patient and willingness to learn new things.
- Ability to work effectively and harmoniously within a team of colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgrounds;
- Capable of working under stressful conditions;
- Ability and willingness to travel to field locations and work in insecure and hardship environment.
Languages
Fluency in English, Ukrainian is required.
