NATIONAL INTERN
The aim of the project Special Assistance Program in Ukraine / EU4ResilientRegions is that mandated governmental and non-governmental institutions in selected oblasts of Ukraine provide needs-based services for basic care and protection of the population. The project is commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), co-funded by the European Union and implemented by GIZ. It supports communities particularly in the Regions Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Lviv, Zaporizhzhya, Sumy, Donetsk and Luhansk (GCA) in improving the quality and the access to social, medical and administrative services on a local level, in particular with respect to vulnerable population groups. For that purpose, the project coordinates and cooperates with a broad range of local/national and international partners and stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the overall guidance of the finance team, tasks may include:
- Archiving of bookkeeping documentations (signing of documents and folders, maintaining of archive fin. documents, contracts).
- Copying and scanning of documentation, its uploading into internal systems and e-archives.
- Support for Finance Team in preparation for audits.
- Preliminary invoice checking for translation, checking of local subsidy reports and similar.
- Preparing of calculation details to vouchers in Excel.
- Providing statistical reports in Excels upon request.
- Preparing and sending of the handing over protocols to the partners.
- Support for Team in preparation for relocation.
- Other tasks upon requests.
Requirements:
- Students of 2-5 study year in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field only;
- Complete fluency in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) is required.
Language Requirements:
- High proficiency in written and spoken English and Ukrainian is required;
- German language skills are an asset.
Duration of Contract
3 months (July – September 2024). The internship is paid. Typical workload for internship is 20 hours but it might be increased/decreased with the respective recalculation of remuneration amount.
