Position Summary
Momentum Wheels for Humanity seeks a Ukraine Mobile Team-training assistant to provide support in implementing training activities and provision assistive product (AP) services with the focus on pediatric APs by AT Hub and/ or by the mobile team in Ukraine. Under the direction of the Ukraine Rehab Training Coordinator and Ukraine AT Hub Coordinator and in cooperation with Ukrainian Mobile Team Lead and other Ukrainian MWH technical staff, the Ukraine Mobile Team-training assistant will be responsible for organizing training and supervision activities in rehabilitation facilities; supporting in creation and adaptation of training materials, leaflets, posters, webinars; providing appropriate assistive product services in the AT Hub and/ or by a mobile team with the focus on pediatric AP; teach, raise awareness, supervise rehabilitation professional and students on appropriate provision of AP; communicate with rehab specialists in the identified facilities to successfully implement projects activities. Only candidates with work authorization in Ukraine will be considered; relocation benefits will not be provided. Ukraine Mobile Team-training assistant should base in Lviv with regular travels in Ukraine.

Expected Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Ukraine Rehab Training Coordinator, Ukraine AT Hub Coordinator, and Ukraine Mobile Team Lead, the Ukraine Mobile Team-training assistant will have the following responsibilities:
- Support Ukraine Rehab Training Coordinator and international trainers in conducting online and virtual training, and implementing mentorship and supervision activities, with a focus on pediatric AP
- Support the provision of virtual or in-person training and mentorship to the rehabilitation workforce on AT provision at the AT Regional Center and through the mobile team, using WSTP-b and/or TAP trainings materials
- Support the preparation and adaptation of training materials, including leaflets, posters, and webinars as needed
- Provide user skills training, including on the use of pediatric wheelchairs and other pediatric AP, during regular AT provision at the hub and through mobile clinics
- Support Ukraine Mobile Team Lead to conduct AT Hub activities, with a focus on the provision of pediatric AP
- Communicate regularly with the Ukraine Mobile Team Lead, members of the mobile team and other AT Hub staff, and MWH staff to facilitate AT Hub activities
- Provide direct AT services to clients at the AT Hub and by mobile team and dispatch of AP with the focus on pediatric AP, including tele-AT services
- Provide inputs to monthly, quarterly, and/or ad hoc donor and internal reports, ensuring that reporting is accurate and timely
- Attend coordination meetings that are relevant to training activities, AT Hub activities, and MWH staff
- Attend or represent MWH in meetings with healthcare providers as needed
- Contribute to the creation of a positive image and overall credibility of MWH
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in the rehabilitation field, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, or master`s degree in health policy, global health, or health system and/or in the relevant field of study
- At least three years of clinical or educational practice as a rehab specialist
- Experience, general awareness, and understanding of the training organization process
- Experience, general awareness, and understanding of assistive technology and assistive products
- Previous experience in providing assistive products services
- Ability to set clear goals and manage progress toward them
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good organization and prioritization skills
- Written and spoken fluency in Ukrainian.
