Ukrainian Red Cross Society is looking for a Cash and Voucher Assistance Programme Administrator with Danish Red Cross

Qualification requirements

  • University degree, preferably in the field of finance, administration, international economic relations
  • At least three year of professional experience in CVA sphere, preferably in (I)NGO, International Organization or social field
  • Knowledge and experience with CVA will be an asset
  • Work experience in international organization or context is an asset
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Integrity and honesty in dealing with confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and execute tasks in a reliable and competent manner
  • Strong ability to communicate with people and colleagues at different levels
  • Flexibility and capacity to adapt to challenging environment

Tasks and responsibilities

The CVA Programme Administrator is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Provide administrative support to the implementation of the CVA response Plan of Action (PoA) for DRC
  • Ensure project reporting on CVA activities, including but not limited to budget and project indicators, is documented and provided to DRC in accordance with DRC project reporting procedures.
  • Support and enrage in cooperation and coordination, participating actively to support DRC in internal and external CVA coordination. Ensuring key information from these engagements is captured and shared with all relevant DRC staff.
  • Represent DRC and DRC CVA activities are aligned with the POA and the DRC CVA delegates requirements in internal and external engagements.
  • Support the organizations, planning, and administration of capacity building activities of staff and volunteers at the branch level in direct support of the DRC CVA delegate
  • Document and share lessons learned / good practice from the CVA Implementation and ensure that this is reported back to DRC HQ.
  • Responsible for Monitoring, evaluation and reporting on the ongoing implementation of the POA for DRC HQ and country-level reporting.

Must know

  • Knowledge on CVA, administration and organization
  • Understanding of the humanitarian context and social needs in Ukraine
  • Fluent in Ukrainian and excellent level of written and spoken English, with the ability to translate
  • Excellent level of computer skills MS Office, Word and Excel and experience with ODK, Kobo Toolbox or similar would be an asset
  • Knowledge of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is an asset
