IREX in Ukraine seeks a qualified Data Assistant to support day-to-day monitoring and evaluation as well as data management of the Ukraine National Identity Through Youth (UNITY) program. The Data Assistant will work under the supervision of the Director of Research and Learning and work closely with program and partner teams. He/she will be responsible for data standardization and management, data processing, managing CRM system, analysis and reporting by USAID requirements, overseeing subgrantees’ M&E performance, design of surveys, data visualization.
Currently, the work under this position can be done remotely. The position will be based in Kyiv once the security situation allows.

Your Background & Skills
· Minimum one year experience in monitoring and evaluation, research or data analysis.
· Minimum bachelor’s degree in statistics, demographics, sociology, economics, or a related field.
· Extensive knowledge of data management guidelines and processes.
· Experience with data quality assessments and oversight.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
· Knowledge of analytical software and data visualization tools.
· Working with CRM systems or relational databases is a plus.
· Familiarity with USAID reporting requirements is a plus.
· Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
· Demonstrated high attention to detail.
· Strong written and spoken command of English and Ukrainian.
· You must have unrestricted authorization to work in Ukraine.
Your Daily Tasks
· Clean, aggregate, and analyze monitoring data.
· Oversee M&E of subgrantees, control data quality of reported data.
· Prepare annual and semiannual reports to the Donor.
· Regularly review programs’ data collection processes, while performing data quality assessments and making adjustments as needed.
· Assist in developing data collection instruments and flows to ensure data integrity and validity at the output and outcome levels.
· Manage internal data trackers and change logs.
· Work with subcontractors in developing digital solutions for program data management.
· Upload and manage data in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
· Prepare data summaries, data analyses, visualizations and reports in support of team learning, donor reporting, and IREX requirements.
· Ensure compliance with ethical standards and data protection protocols in all aspects of data collection, storage, and analysis.
· Provide capacity-building and coaching for local partners in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning and data collection.
· Design and lead training on M&E, data management and data-based decision making.
· Other support duties as needed.

The eligible employee is regular, full-time Ukraine-based staff who works from a worksite outside the Ukraine office for one or more days a week.
