Вакансія: Grants Assistant
The Investment for Business Resilience (IBR) Activity, formerly known as FSR, is a five-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by DAI Global LLC. The purpose of the IBR Activity is to support systemic changes in Ukraine’s economy and increases the supply of finance available to Ukrainian businesses. IBR aims to transform the country’s financial sector into a well-functioning and competitive market that is aligned with European Union standards and integrated into international financial systems, while directly providing financing to enterprises for sustained economic growth.
IBR is organized into four thematic areas:
- New Investments Facilitation for Enterprise Growth
- Deepened Private Sector Financial Intermediation and Expanded Private Finance
- Improved Market Regulation and Financial Infrastructure
- Enhanced Transparency and Communications about Financial Sector Reform.
The IBR is looking for candidates to fill in the Grants Assistant position, LTTA in Kyiv.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Grants Assistant is a support position with the primary responsibility of assisting the grants department with variety of administrative tasks to ensure consistent grant processing. The role covers maintenance and optimization of grantmaking data systems, document maintenance, and keeping the grants records in the Grants Management Plus (GM+) System. The Grants Assistant reports to the Senior Grants Manager and will work in the Kyiv office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting administration of the grantees’ selection process to ensure that policies and procedures are upheld as outlined in the approved Grants Manual.
- Assisting in collecting the concept notes/applications under NOFOs (notifications of funding opportunities.)
- Assisting in development and management of the trackers.
- Assisting in grant correspondence (notifications, questions to the applicants, preparation of the official letters).
- Checking the applicants for eligibility purposes and ensuring timely documents entry into TAMIS.
- Assisting in arranging meetings, taking notes, drafting protocols, presentations’ design, etc.
- Preparing the draft of the grant agreements and other grants related documents.
- Ensuring exchange, maintenance and archiving of the required hard copies of the documents.
- Assisting in preparation of backup documentation for payments under grants.
- Perform other tasks as necessary as assigned by the Senior Grants Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Experience in administrative tasks, including filing systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and written and oral communication skills.
- Essential working knowledge of digital tools and technologies for information processing, communication, and computer applications (e.g. MS Office) as an independent user.
- Language requirements are as follows:
- English level III (General working proficiency) Reading/Writing/Speaking.
- Ukrainian Fluent.
