Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Ukraine is seeking a qualified professional for the Country Office to fill the position of the:
HR Specialist (Staff Administration) (full-time, Kyiv)

Areas of responsibility:
- managing proper Headcount planning which includes regular exchange with managers and timely update of affected units to ensure respective resources planning and distribution;
- collecting, checking, tracking the data and preparing manning table on regular basis;
- maintaining Employment contracts of employees in order, which includes but is not limited to: timely contracts extension, contracts termination, changing conditions of contract etc;
- keeping personnel data in proper order (along with other team members) both in SAP and in personnel files;
- developing and implementing the action plan on proper military record tracking according to legal requirements;
- making sure all type of reports on military records are prepared on time and delivered to respective recipients;
- dealing with all type of activities with regard to waiving national staff from military service;
- consulting employees and managers on different types of requests related to waiving and military service;
- performing advisory role to HR colleagues, employees and managers on different types of labour-related requests (individual, group requests and workshop formats);
- liaise with external partners, namely GDIP (Directorate-general for rendering services to diplomatic missions) to ensure proper support during the full cycle of employee experience with GIZ;
- provide support to international colleagues in obtaining visa, residence permit and in other topics related to staying in Ukraine (limited to certain amount currently);
- taking active part in the development and update of HR policies and procedures;
- constant tracking of the changes in Labour legislation and conducting individual or group educational sessions in the HR team;
- participating in different digitalization/optimization activities of HR processes;
Qualifications:
- BA/MSc in social sciences, law, economics or similar area (preferably with a focus on HR management);
- profound knowledge of Ukrainian labour legislation and hand-on experience of dealing with different aspects of it;
- 2+ years of proven work experience in Staff Administration area (incl. responsibility for military records) in international company of 100+ employees size;
- good working knowledge of ITC technologies (related software, phone, fax, email, the internet) and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, Teams);
- fluency in Ukrainian language and Upper-intermediate level of English language are required (both written and spoken), German language would be an asset;

Employment conditions
Full-time position with 40-hours working week. The contract duration is 1 year. Prolongation is possible. Starting as soon as possible.
