Вакансія: Procurement and Logistics Specialist

ICAP at Columbia University, a global health leader situated within the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in New York City, seeks the services of a Procurement & Logistics Specialist in Ukraine. The Procurement and Logistics Specialist will be responsible for implementation of procurement with ensuring effective logistics and procurement systems through coordinating logistics, including travel, monitoring purchasing processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of items to intended recipients in the context of a conflict setting, providing general office and information-flow management.
ICAP seeks to fill this key position of Procurement and Logistics Specialist which will be based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies; Business Management; Procurement or related fields. Previous work experience in an NGO is ideal for this role.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide advice on procurement in line with best practice procurement procedures and protocols.
- Process and obtain relevant approvals for materials to be purchased in line with existing requirements and protocols.
- Conducts bidding/tender for procurement of supplies/goods/services.
- Involved in internal market research.
- Ensures evaluation, verification, and pre-qualification of vendors.
- Liaise with Country Representative and relevant government entities to coordinate the travel of ICAP staff, given limitations related to ongoing conflict.
- Support all logistics related to project meetings and trainings.
- Prepares package of documents for payment (PO, PR and etc.).
- Provide technical support for local networks and network equipment, office equipment, and computer peripherals.
- Keep records of the movement of goods and materials in the warehouse of the organization.
- Oversee and coordinate office maintenance.
- Perform other duties necessary for the effective operations of the project.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, procurement, or related field required
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum four (4) years of relevant work experience, ideally at an international NGO
- Experience working in procurement in medical sector;
- Computer literacy: competence and confidence in working with all the standard MS Office. applications and Zoom, electronic procurement platforms, web-searching skills.
- Written and spoken proficiency in both English and Ukrainian
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
