Вакансія: USAID RevGro project – Strategic Communications Director
ACTIVITY BACKGROUND
The USAID/Ukraine Revenue and Expenditure Governance Reforms Operationalized (RevGRO) Activity, implemented by DAI Global LLCm will promote fiscal resilience, transparency, and accountability by enhancing state revenue generation and financial management in Ukraine. This will be achieved through the Activity’s three objectives: Increased national revenue through support to tax and customs policy, administration, and institutional reforms; Strengthening public investment management, expenditure management, and audit in line with international standards; and enhancing civic oversight and private sector engagement and fiscal policy.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Strategic Communications Director will supervise a team of two staff to enable effective project and strategic communication activities in support of RevGRO goals.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with Objective leads to track and support evolving needs regarding strategic communications needs that relate to RevGRO’s scope.
- Prepare, update and implement a strategic communications plan for RevGRO, consistent with USAID rules and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the project technical team to prepare customized communication products, including social media communications.
- Ensure that all work supported by the project highlights opportunities for interoperability and transparency of government operations.
- Design scopes of work and oversee/supervise the technical work and deliverables of short- and long-term technical staff to support implementation of project activities related to strategic communications.
- Assist with drafting contract deliverables including annual work plans, quarterly reports, Monitoring, Learning and Evaluation (MEL) Plan, weekly updates, and with other technical documents as needed.
- Liaises with the Communications and Outreach Specialist within the Ukraine Operations Office to ensure effective collaboration with the home office and coordination with other DAI implemented projects in Ukraine.
- Other activities as assigned by the Chief of Party.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or other relevant area, master’s preferred, and at least eleven years of experience in communications or similar role.
- Substantial experience working on Strategic Communications activities, ideally related to economic governance topics.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Ukrainian.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining social media strategy.
- Knowledge of USAID requirements regarding communications, branding, and marking strongly preferred.
