Proposal Summary: The anticipated USAID-funded Donbas Activity will promote inclusive civic identity and common civic values by addressing the divisive impacts of Russian aggression, Ukrainian ultra-nationalism, and the consequences of ongoing armed conflict. The activity will promote civic awareness, social and economic entrepreneurship, and improve democratic engagement between citizens and government institutions, as well as improve community services in areas most affected by these divisive influences. This five-year project is expected to start in mid-2018. This position will be based in Kyiv.
** Only Ukrainian citizens are eligible for this position. ** Position Summary: The Communications Manager will identify appropriate audiences as well as determine the right messaging vehicles and content to address the project’s civic awareness and community engagement objectives. S/he will also work with the technical team to incorporate the utilization of lessons learned into project’s activities on an ongoing basis. S/he is responsible for proposing, planning and implementing both innovative and standard communications products in accordance with USAID and MSI standards. Responsibilities:
