Міжнародна компанія «Інтерньюз» шукає спеціаліста з економіки, фінансів/бухгалтерського обліку/ з досвідом роботи в міжнародних проектах для надання підтримки в управлінні грантами (далі – англ).

Internews is seeking candidates for a position of an Assistant Grants Manager

GENERAL FUNCTION:

Provides administrative support to Internews grants management, mainly financial and contractual procedures

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Revise grantees’ financial reports in terms of their correctness against the project and master budgets.
  • Check if grantees’ expenses and supporting documentation are in accordance with Ukrainian legislation and donor’s requirements.
  • Verify necessary accounting documentation under grant agreements.
  • Report errors and inconsistencies in grantees’ financial reports.
  • Consult grantees on necessary corrections in financial reports, as appropriate, according to grant agreements.
  • Coordinate approvals of grantees’ narrative and financial reports by Internews program and financial managers.
  • Assist grants manager in compiling budget and financial report templates, audit certifications and other necessary for signing/modifying grantees’ agreements.
  • Assist grants manager in Internews grantees database maintenance.
  • Assist financial department in scanning, copying, vetting of new vendors, reviewing travel expense reports and other tasks.
  • Perform clerical duties if needed.
  • Adhere to appropriate Internews office procedures, as well as donor policies and procedures when applicable.
  • Any other duties as required by Internews project priorities and management.

 QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management or Economics
  • Minimum of two years of experience in financial reporting for international technical assistance programs
  • Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian accounting procedures
  • Excellence in writing in  English, Ukrainian and Russian
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Access.
