The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) is a non-profit organization working to strengthen democracy worldwide. NDI programs are supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Sweden, Canada, United Kingdom, the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and other donors.
NDI-Ukraine is currently seeking Administrative Assistant/Receptionist for its office based in Kyiv.
Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, NDI Ukraine
Requirements:
- University Degree/last year of studies
- Excellent communication skills in Ukrainian and English
- Proven organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Excellent computer and typing skills
- Experience with an international organization is an advantage
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties
- Assist in day-to-day administration of NDI office in Ukraine (procurement, contracts, coordination and negotiation with partners/vendors)
- Translate documents from Ukrainian into English and vice-versa
- Meet and greet NDI visitors, answer phone calls
- Order supplies for the office
- Provide logistical support to the NDI staff, consultants, trainers
- Coordinate driver’s schedule
- Maintain communication with hotels, transportation and internet companies, other service providers
- Support NDI staff in various projects as assigned
- Provide administrative support to the NDI staff
- Other duties as assigned
Applicants will need a flexible work schedule as the job will require some evening and weekend work.
