The program “Higher Value Added Trade from the Organic and the Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (Quality Food Trade Program – QFTP) is a Swiss-Ukrainian cooperation program funded by the Swiss Government with the aim to increase value added trade from the organic and dairy sector, both domestic and export market. The program has two objectives: to strengthen product quality and safety in the organic and dairy sector, and to increase trade capacity in the domestic and export markets with consumer products from the organic and dairy sector. Junior Expert in Organic component of the QFTP Program (100%)

Job duties and responsibilities

• Participation in the preparation and the implementation of the activities in the Organic component, incl. event management
• Participation in the preparation of the activity report for the Organic component, including a collection of testimonials, facts, and figures for monitoring, coordination, and collection and storing on the Program server activity materials of the organic component
• Documentation maintenance
• Support on requests from Organic Senior National Advisors
• Preparation of proposals and conducting program procedures in the Organic component
• Contribution for identification of needs among beneficiaries and target groups in line with the Program outcomes and outputs in the Organic component
• Promoting the Program efficiency (ensure commitment and boost ownership of local actors, work towards a sustainable implementation of activities, reasonable use of funds, etc.)
• Promotion of the Program among beneficiaries and target groups
• Taking responsibility for technical information in published Program promotion materials
• Active contribution to a good team spirit

Job qualifications and requirements

• Previous working experience for at least 3 years with the implementation of tasks similar as mentioned above
• Excellent portfolio with a proven track record of successful examples
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Master’s degree in administration, public relations, communications, or a similar relevant field.
• Excellent language skills Ukrainian, English (both oral and written)
• Excellent self-organizational skills
• Experience in international technical assistance projects and/or knowledge of agriculture and/or trade (food/feed) in Ukraine is preferred but not required
