The Swiss Red Cross (SRC) and Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (IF URCS) are announcing the following vacancy in support of their joint operation in Ivano-Frankivsk region:
Shelter Officer
The Shelter Officer will act as support to Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in implementation activities for IDPs’ shelters and settlements. The position is part of the IF URCS project team and ensures support in construction administration for IF URCS.
Main tasks:
- Preparation of assessments (KOBO, Assessment Reports)
- Attend meetings, writing minutes
- Prepare proposals for implementation and coordinate with management
- Assist in ordering machines and equipment
- Reporting and cost control of individual projects
- Cooperation with PSS, Logistics and Finance departments
- Monitoring of projects
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- At least 3 years’ experience in the implementation of renovation and reconstruction projects
- Team player
- Ability to empathise with people
- Is flexible and willing to work outside normal working hours
- Good communication skills in English
- Experience in working with NGOs or international humanitarian organizations is welcomed
