Consultant on Internship Programme for Women in STEM Professions | ПРООН

UNDP is looking for a highly qualified Consultant with proven expertise in programme management or in-depth knowledge of gender mainstreaming in technical domains to coordinate the Internship Programme for women who are third-sixth year students or have recently graduated (in 2021-2022 years) from universities with STEM educational backgrounds and strive to obtain a first-hand experience in the digital transformation of state services. As the programme is a pilot initiative, only 8 (eight) persons will be selected for the internship at the Ministry of Digital Transformation on a competitive basis.
The main objective of the assignment is to provide support to UNDP in coordinating the Internship Programme for women studying in STEM professions or recent university graduates. The Consultant will be responsible for the internship’s technical arrangements, finding speakers for online events, daily communication with participants and delivering other activities related to the proper programme implementation. The Consultant will be also engaged in the development of the internship’s quality assurance and learning evaluation tools to ensure that sufficient knowledge and skills are obtained by the interns.
Experience and qualifications requirements:
- At least university degree (Bachelor’s) in Social Sciences, Public/Business Administration, Management, IT or related field;
- At least 2 years of practical experience in leading groups of employees/interns/volunteers, whose work is related to digital transformation, IT solutions, public administration, STEM or similar fields;
- Proven practical experience in event management – conducting at least two trainings/conferences/study visits.
- Proven experience in cooperation with the national government is considered as a strong asset;
- Experience in cooperation with international technical assistance projects is an asset;
- Native-level knowledge of Ukrainian is required. At least working-level knowledge of English.
