Pact Inc. is implementing a USAID-funded project Public Health System Recovery and Resilience Activity. The primary goal of PHS R&R is to strengthen the Government of Ukraine (GoU)’s capacity to prevent, detect and respond to public health threats, sustain critical public health services during a crisis, and protect the health of all Ukrainians including vulnerable and marginalized groups.
Background
As part of capacity building activities for MoH, CPH, rCDCPs Pact seeks a consultant to provide coordination services for training activities.
Duties and Responsibilities (Tasks)
- Provide support in developing training programs for MoH, CPH and rCDCPs staff;
- Provide support in identifying the list of participants for training activities;
- Coordinate formal and informal invitation for training activities;
- Provide other duties on capacity building activities coordination upon request.
Period of performance: March 2023 – September 2023 (no more than 45 days in total)
Deliverables
- Provided reports on the performed tasks (March – September 2023)
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited university in human resources, human resource management, business administration, medicine, public health, social work, public policy, health and human services, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of experience in workforce development and skills building.
- Broad understanding of capacity building needs in the area of public health and health systems.
- Experience working in the healthcare and public health sphere, experience in working with MoH/CPH.
- Ability to collaborate well with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.,
- Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments and work with and between different stakeholders.
- Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and consensus building.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English.
