We are recruiting Small Grants Associates (2 positions) for UNDP in Poltava and Dnipro.
The Programme’s interventions are grouped under the following key Programme components, which reflect women’s and men’s priority needs in the region:
Component 1: Economic Recovery and Restoration of Critical Infrastructure
Component 2: Local Governance and Decentralization Reform
Component 3: Community Security and Social Cohesion.
In October 2018, UNDP signed an agreement for a multi-year project under the EU Support to the East of Ukraine programme. In 2021, the EU-funded project was amended to extend its scope though the EU4Resilient Regions programme. It has recently been amended to ensure that the approach implemented under UN RPP can help address the devastation and increased needs of the civilian population as a result of the ongoing war, and where it will be required.
UNDP Ukraine invites applications from highly qualified and experienced Ukrainian professionals for the post of the Small Grants Associate. This position falls under the third component of the RPP — i.e., Community Security and Social Cohesion (CSSC).
Requirements for candidates:
- 4 years of experience in the field of civil society, administration, finance, programme/project support or other relevant fields.
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel) and advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems.
- Experience in grant management, especially in the areas of community security, local development, social cohesion, civic engagement, support to civil society is an advantage.
- Previous experience within UNDP or other UN agencies, a governmental, other multilateral or civil society organization is highly desirable.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, International Relations, Management, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Public Administration, or other relevant areas.
- Ukrainian, Level: Fluent, Required
- English, Level: Fluent, Required
