The Financial Sector Reform Activity (FSR) in Ukraine is a five-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and managed by DAI Global LLC (DAI). The purpose of the activity is to transform the country’s financial sector into a sophisticated, well-functioning, competitive market that is aligned with European Union (EU) standards and integrated into international financial systems. This transformation will mobilize private finance for sustained economic growth in Ukraine. 

The FSR is looking for candidates to fill in the following Technical Experts (short-term, consultant) positions: 

1. Financial Markets Analyst 

Short description of Objectives and Duties: 

  • Collect market data (including NPL) on financial markets in Ukraine including: NBFI financing, leasing, factoring, MSME capital raising (equity financing, crowdfunding), MSME financing platforms (marketplaces, etc.), private individual mortgage loans.
  • Produce forecasts of markets or selected products development. Perform various statistical and comparative analyses.
  • Define and substantiate assumptions underlying the findings.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Higher educational degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or other related field. Master level preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in market analysis of the financial sector. 

2. Business Processes Analyst 

Short description of Objectives and Duties: 

  • Gather, analyze, and formalize business requirements.
  • Model business processes and identify software solutions for process automation.
  • Create functional requirements for identified solutions that will be used by software developers. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Higher education in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, Master’s degree is a preference.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in business analysis or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills. 

3. XBRL ICT Expert 

Short description of Objectives and Duties: 

  • Review and perform comparative analysis of the versions of IFRS Taxonomies reflected in eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL).
  • Assess XBRL ICT solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of XBRL software.
  • Provide technical support to the implementation of XBRL ICT solutions. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Higher education in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, Master’s degree is a preference.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in structured electronic reporting of financial information and XBRL taxonomy or a related field.
  • Experience analyzing business requirements on reporting. Experience with analyzing and building automatic data validation rules.  

4. Business Instructor for Banks and NBFIs staff

Short description of Objectives and Duties: 

  • Delivering online and offline trainings for banks and NBFIs personnel on available opportunities to obtain financing; sales managers training;
  • Develop theoretical and practical educational webinars, seminars, trainings and other activities specialized on products, provided by government and non-government institutions for MSME (e.g. ECA products, PCGF)
  • Conduct a field knowledge survey and increase level of specialized products understanding by banks and NBFIs staff for better program implementation.
  • Provision of feedback for adaptation and adjustment of specialized programs into banking practice. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Higher Higher educational degree, preferably in Psychology.
  • At least 5-7 years of coaching experience, preferably in banks or in sales.
  • Deep understanding of banking loan process.
  • Perfect skills in structuring information and explaining complicated things in simple words.

All positions require: 

  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English;
  • Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
