Вакансія: Communications consultants to implement a mentoring program – Community Action for HIV Control

Community Action for HIV Control (CAHC) project is seeking for three communications consultants to implement a mentoring program for approx. 15 regional organizations. The mentors will help regional NGO specialists develop and implement regional campaigns and activities to increase demand for community-based HIV services.

Deliverables:

• Coordination of regional NGOs (5-7 for each mentor) in planning, monitoring and evaluation of marketing and communication of HIV services, including assistance in finalizing and implementing communication plans.
• Assisting in the implementation of local communication campaigns, creating products, conducting activities.
• Support in organizing and conducting training activities in the areas of marketing communications, coaching in the development of relevant competencies.

In close collaboration with the project Communications Team, the consultants will work to ensure the following requirements to the expected output:   

• Held kick-off and ongoing meetings with NGO communication specialists (online) and, if necessary, visits to regional NGOs (offline)
• Develop and implement work plan with each NGO, ensure coordination in planning, monitoring and evaluation of communication activities
• Finalize NGO communication plans for the implementation of local campaigns
• Support NGOs in creating products and conducting activities

Conduct training activities in the field of marketing communications, provide recommendations for the development of relevant competencies.

Period of service provision: October 2023 – June 2024 (nine months).

Professional Requirements: 

• Professional experience in communications.
• Proven experience in mentoring or conducting trainings or facilitation sessions.
• Experience with non-governmental/HIV service organizations would be an asset. 
• High education, preferably a master’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations and/or humanities or social sciences.
• Good writing and speaking skills in Ukrainian.

1. A) candidate’s experience related to:

• organization and holding of offline events, creation and placement of offline advertising,
• launching various types of online advertising, implementing social media campaigns, collaborations with bloggers or organizations/projects on social media
• cooperation with the media and establishing partnerships for campaigns
• working to change the behavior of representatives of key populations (PWID, MSM, and SW)

1. B) compliance with the key requirements for applicants, including:

• experience in non-profit organizations/projects/programs in the field of communications, marketing, public relations
• experience in communications in the field of HIV/AIDS and/or public health
