ОПИС РОЛІ 

Соціальний працівник підтримує безпосередню реалізацію програми психосоціального благополуччя та інклюзивного громадського середовища для дітей та їхніх сімей, забезпечуючи психологічну та психо-соціальну підтримку для дітей та підлітків, які потребують захисту.

ОСНОВНІ ОБОВ’ЯЗКИ:

• Здійснювати соціальний супровід дітей, яким допомагає організація.
• Спілкуватися з офіційними представниками дітей, державними та неурядовими організаціями, відповідальними за захист дітей.
• Вести документацію про надання соціальних послуг.
• Брати участь в інформаційно-просвітницькій роботі (за потреби).
• Забезпечити створення та виконання планів роботи, встановлення чітких цілей та планів діяльності.
• Надавати технічні консультації та психосоціальну підтримку. За необхідності створювати групи підтримки «рівному рівному».
• Забезпечити систематичний і точний збір інформації та даних.
• Контролювати адміністративні та матеріально-технічні процедури, пов’язані з виконанням запланованих заходів.

Кваліфікація:

• вища освіта;
• відмінні усні та письмові навички української мови; знання англійської мови буде перевагою.

Попередній досвід:

• досвід роботи на аналогічній посаді не менше 2 років;
• досвід роботи в середовищі з мінімальним прямим керівництвом у складних регіональних умовах;

Навички:

• Експертиза принаймні в одній із наших пріоритетних сфер: захист дітей, міграція та/або доступ до правосуддя.

Social worker 

Terre des hommes is looking for a proactive, energetic, and organised Social worker, to join its team in Mykolaiv (with frequent visits in different bases), to support in the implementation of its projects. Start date: as soon as possible. 

Contract: until the 31.03.2024 with the possibility of extension.

Probation period: 1 month.

ROLE DESCRIPTION 

Social worker supports the direct implementation of the psycho-social wellbeing and inclusive community environment for children and their families program ensuring the provision of PSS support for children/adolescents and case management services for child mine/ERW victims, children in need of protection. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide social support to children assisted by the organization.
• Communicate with official representatives of children, governmental and non-governmental organizations responsible for child protection.
• Keep documentation on the provision of social services.
• Participate in informational and educational work (if necessary).
• Ensure the establishment and implementation of work plans, setting clear targets and activity plans.
• Follow the case management steps ensuring that each step is properly implemented and documented in the individual’s file.
• Support individual cases, when necessary, and provide regular monitoring of all aspects of case management and social services.
• Provide technical advice on cases and psychosocial support. Facilitate peer-to-peer support groups where appropriate.
• Map existing specialized services and make sure that the referral pathway is up-to-date to facilitate beneficiaries’ access to services in conjunction with that shared by the Child Protection Sub-Sector Working Group.
• Ensure case information and data is collected systematically and accurately.
• Follow up on administrative and logistical procedures connected with the accomplishment of the planned activities.

YOUR PROFILE 

• University degree (at least bachelor level) from an accredited educational institution in social science, development, humanitarian studies or a related discipline;
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
• Experience of working in a highly collaborative environment with minimal direct supervision in complex regional setting;
• Expertise in at least one of our priority areas: child protection, migration or/and access to justice.
• Background and interest in innovation will be an asset.
• Excellent command of written and spoken Ukrainian and Russian, English will be privilege.
