Organic Component Coordinator (100%)
The Swiss-Ukrainian Program “Higher Value-Added Trade from the Organic and Dairy Sector in Ukraine” (QFTP) – funded by the Swiss Government. The overall goal of QFTP is to promote sustainable trade and create more and better jobs by strengthening the business competitiveness and capacities of SMEs in the organic and dairy sectors.
In order to complement our highly motivated and dedicated Organic team, we are seeking an experienced Organic Component Coordinator.
Place of work: Kyiv, Ukraine
Starting date: April 1, 2025
Contract duration: Until mid-2026, with an option for an extension until 2028
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Organic Component of the QFTP Program.
- Lead a small team of national and international organic experts.
- Define, plan, implement, and report activities ofthe Organic Component within the given budget and timeframe, based on explicit sector needs.
- Liaise with Ukrainian organic stakeholders in the public and private sectors.
- Coordinate and organize trade and policy-related events in Ukraine and abroad, in close cooperation with national and international partners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong team player with sound management skills.
- Master’s degree in agriculture, economics, management, international commerce, law or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the organic sector development.
- Solid understanding of international trade policy, and the Ukrainian organic sector.
- Experience in international technical assistance projects is an advantage.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ukrainian citizenship, fluent in both English (C1 or C2) and Ukrainian.
