Викладач/ка англійської мови для персоналу в Україні в 2025 році
We are a non-profit, independent organization, which was founded during the war in Afghanistan in 1981 and is now active worldwide in 26 countries. Help provides rapid assistance in the event of disasters, sustainable reconstruction, and long-term development assistance for and with people in need, especially in Africa, Asia, and Europe. Help is currently providing emergency aid for victims in Ukraine.
Help –started the implementation of the “Support of the Help staff” sub-project, financed by the Aktion Deutschland Hilft e.V. (ADH) and implemented by the Representative office of Help – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V. in Ukraine.
As part of the project implementation, we are seeking English teachers.
Description of the Service:
Number of groups: 6
- English language level A1 – 1 group is predicted
- English language level A2 – 2 groups are predicted
- English language level B1 – 1 group is predicted
- English language level B2 – 2 groups are predicted.
This division of levels is conditional and may change periodically. There is also a possibility of increasing the number of groups to 10 during the term of the contract.
The number of students in the group: 2-3
Number of the lessons per week for each group: 2
Duration of the lesson: 60 minutes
Teaching format: online
2 lessons per month should be dedicated to business English, e.g.: English for negotiations, business correspondence, business lexis.
Terms of the contract: March 2025 – December 2025
Qualifications, experience and requirements:
- A qualification to train adults (with professional training certification or equivalent)
- Higher education in philology/education
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language to adults in groups and individually
- Using the communicative method of teaching a foreign language
- Language teachers must speak at least an advanced level of English (C1). Certificates of English language proficiency must be provided (TOEFL, IELTS, CAE, CPE, BEC, TKT, CELTA, DELTA, etc.)
- English teachers should be registered as PE of the 3rd group with relevant KVED
- At the end of each month, the teacher should send a report to the agreed email address about student attendance, invoice, and the act of services granted. Lesson cancellations are not appreciated. If for some reason the lesson was skipped, it should be rescheduled.
- A teacher should have access to stable internet (the ability to work during power outages will be an advantage)
- A teacher should provide students with study literature (in digital format)
Trial lesson – is one of the selection stages.
Before the contract is concluded, the free trial lesson should be held.
